In 2017 I was tasked with redesigning The Unemployed Philosophers Guild’s website. The previous site design from 2013 was already hopelessly outdated; an image-based interface made it mobile-unfriendly, difficult to update, and slow. The redesign brings order, clarity, and flexibility to a catalog of more than 700 SKUs, while the modular, library card catalog-inspired design allows us to keep the site fresh and let the eclectic products be the heroes of the story.
